The chapel was built in 1770 according to the design of the famous Czech architect Jan Prachner, during the last major restoration of Libene Castle. The magnificent decoration of the chapel, with many sculptural groups and paintings, filigree carved decoration and gilding, is dictated by the Rococo style, popular at that time. The interior decoration of the chapel has survived to this day, of course, with the necessary careful restoration. The chapel is dedicated to the Virgin Mary; the sculptures and paintings are illustrations of the Old and New Testaments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being part of the Liben Castle, at the same time, the chapel is a separate wedding venue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
