π Valid Passports
Both passports must be valid on the date of travel and registration.
πΌ Birth Certificate
A notarized copy translated into English or Greek and legalized with an apostille. Not required for Israeli citizens.
π Certificate of No Impediment / Marital Status
This certificate is valid for 3 months from the date of issue. After that, a new one is required.
ποΈ Translation and Legalization
Original and translation must be submitted together. Translation must be notarized and include an apostille.
ποΈ Legalization Format
Ideally an apostille (Hague Convention of 1961). If your country is not a member, consular legalization is required.
π Divorce Decree(if applicable)
Original final divorce document stating the decree is absolute and not subject to appeal, signed, sealed, and legalized with an apostille and an official translation.
π―οΈ Death Certificate of Spouse(if applicable)
For widowed applicants: original document legalized with apostille and translated into English or Greek.

Originals and certified translations must be submitted together as one complete set to the municipality.
