Červený Újezd is located only 15 km from Prague and is a historical complex, including a castle with a small museum-reserve adjacent to it, as well as apartments and a restaurant in the old Czech style.
Červený Újezd will especially appeal to those couples who are planning a wedding in the “rustic” style. The castle was built relatively recently, but it fits so well into the medieval atmosphere of the Czech Republic that today it is recognized as one of the most popular places for weddings. It is characterized by a harmonious mixture of historical styles: Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque. The interiors of the castle contain original works of art, antique furniture and authentic knight’s armor.
Various cultural events and theatrical performances are often held here, designed to recreate the atmosphere of the Middle Ages.
The Krčma restaurant offers visitors not only modern European cuisine, but also dishes from wild animals and poultry, traditional old Czech specialties, such as pheasant legs, stuffed pigeons, smoked duck with chestnuts, old Czech soups, natural chops and wild boar stew, venison dishes. The tavern serves only draft beer, brewed in-house.
The castle is surrounded by a picturesque garden, on the territory of which buildings typical of the countryside of medieval Bohemia have been recreated – a farmstead, a mill, craft workshops. More than 500 species of plants are planted in the park. There is also a small lake, in the clear waters of which you can see golden carp and make your deepest wish.

Documents for a wedding in the Czech Republic:
- Valid passports
- Birth certificate
- Certificate of marital status, i.e. whether he/she is single, divorced or widowed, issued by an official authority of his/her country. (For Israelis Tamzit Rishum)
- The above certificate is valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
- It is also necessary to legalize the certificate of marital status. The best form of legalization is an apostille stamp if their country has signed the “Hague Convention Abolishing Requirements for the Legalization of Foreign Public Documents of October 5, 1961.” Otherwise, he/she will need to contact the official authority of his/her country for the necessary legalization.
- The original divorce document, in the case of a divorced person, which states that the divorce is final and not subject to appeal, duly signed, stamped and legalized.
- Death certificate of the spouse, in case he/she was married, but his/her spouse died. The certificate must be legalized.
- Certificate of change of name/surname.
- Notarised power of attorney.
