Zámek Sychrov
Your wedding will take place in a romantic castle built at the end of the 17th century, in the most picturesque place of the north-eastern Czech Republic. Initially, the castle was built in the Baroque style, but in the 19th century it was bought by representatives of the French noble family Rohan, who radically rebuilt it, giving the building a French flavor.
Sichrov Castle is one of the most interesting sights of the Czech Republic. It is called the “carved miracle of the Czech Republic”, since the palace interiors are decorated with carved wooden panels, the creation of which skilled craftsmen worked for about 40 years. In addition, a priceless collection of art, which the owners of the estate took from Paris during the French Revolution, has found shelter here.
The castle also houses a museum of the Czech composer Antonin Dvorak, who loved these places very much and stayed here many times.
The wedding ceremony is held in the Royal Hall, which amazes with unique stained glass windows, ancient sculptures and magnificent bas-reliefs. After the ceremony, you will enjoy a walk through an elegant French park with blossoming trees and a small Catholic chapel.
You will remember the wedding at Sychrov Castle as a grand celebration, the happy memories of which will warm you for many years.

Documents for a wedding in the Czech Republic:
- Valid passports
- Birth certificate
- Certificate of marital status, i.e. whether he/she is single, divorced or widowed, issued by an official authority of his/her country. (For Israelis Tamzit Rishum)
- The above certificate is valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
- It is also necessary to legalize the certificate of marital status. The best form of legalization is an apostille stamp if their country has signed the “Hague Convention Abolishing Requirements for the Legalization of Foreign Public Documents of October 5, 1961.” Otherwise, he/she will need to contact the official authority of his/her country for the necessary legalization.
- The original divorce document, in the case of a divorced person, which states that the divorce is final and not subject to appeal, duly signed, stamped and legalized.
- Death certificate of the spouse, in case he/she was married, but his/her spouse died. The certificate must be legalized.
- Certificate of change of name/surname.
- Notarised power of attorney.
