Wedding in Czech Castles

A wedding in the Czech Republic is traditionally associated with the luxury of ancient castles and the charm of centuries-old history.

This is true, for many years now the main idea of couples who have chosen the Czech Republic for their wedding has been a wedding in an ancient castle or palace. Undoubtedly, the Czech Republic is ideal for a wedding of this format, because in the relatively small territory of the Czech Republic there are more than 2,000 castles!

Each of them is different from the others, has its own style, mood and character. Therefore, each wedding in the Czech Republic, organized and held by us, is special and individual.

When concluding a marriage abroad, unlike ordinary travel, the newlyweds will have to pay more attention to the preparation of the necessary documents. This is natural, since the ceremony is official and implies compliance with certain legal formalities. Our agency will completely take over the formal functions, and the couple will only have to enjoy the adventure.

What is the most attractive thing about weddings abroad? On the one hand, ceremonies are held in accordance with the national traditions of the host country, and on the other hand, individual preferences of each couple are taken into account as much as possible. This allows us to always organize something truly memorable and amazing.

We understand that a wedding, whether official or symbolic, is an important event in the life of a couple. And we are ready to take into account all the wishes of the newlyweds, down to the smallest detail.

The Czech Republic is good because of its lack of seasonality – ancient palaces and castles, as well as parks and panoramic views of the “Golden Prague” – a wonderful background for impressive wedding photos. Perhaps the parks are more picturesque in the summer, but in the cold season, Czech cuisine will delight you. Also invaluable in this case is the opportunity to combine a wedding celebration with a romantic trip to Central Europe.

Each wedding in the Czech Republic, organized and held by us, is special and individual. It does not matter whether it is a large-scale event with hundreds of guests and an impressive budget or a cozy family event, each wedding for us is a special world.

If you have not found the wedding venue of “your dreams” on our website, do not rush to get upset. Just contact us, and based on your ideas and wishes, we will offer you options for wedding venues that will inspire you and immerse you in the atmosphere of the holiday already at the stage of preparation for your wedding in the Czech Republic.

What is required to have a wedding in the Czech Republic?

The Czech Republic offers a wide variety of wedding ceremony venues. If you like a romantic ceremony in the medieval style, you should consider several options for locations in the Czech Republic. If you decide to limit yourself to an economical option, opt for a ceremony within the walls of one of the local Town Halls, especially since they are usually located in interesting old buildings. And if you dream of feeling like a participant in ancient events, to experience the romanticism of the Middle Ages, arrange your wedding in one of the castles in the Czech Republic.

A wedding in the Czech Republic should be booked no later than 2 months before the desired date. And if we are talking about a wedding in a castle or one of the popular places, then sometimes it is worth booking a year in advance. In addition to the actual submission of documents to the municipality, which we do for you and receiving approval of the documents, you also need to have all your necessary documents certified and translated by a notary, which also takes time. Certification of documents and their translation are paid separately depending on your package of documents and the time before the wedding date. We also have an Express service for preparing documents in an extremely short time for an additional fee. When the documents are ready, we will send them to the Czech Republic for our agent to present them to the municipality. Without the original documents, the wedding will not take place.
To obtain a marriage license in the Czech Republic, you will also have to personally visit the municipality and the police a few days before the ceremony date.
During your visit to the municipality and the police in the Czech Republic, you will be accompanied by our agent, who will monitor and manage the process, and will also resolve any questions or unforeseen situations.

The earlier you book a wedding with us, the more likely you are to receive the conditions and services that suit you best. For example, the date that suits you or the photographer you like best. We have a large selection of contractors for different tastes and budgets.

It is possible to book a wedding in our agency online. In this case, you do not need to come physically to the meeting, it will take place via one of the means of communication of your choice. The original documents and the signed contract can be sent by mail.

A wedding ceremony in the Czech Republic lasts about 20 minutes. The official part of the ceremony is not subject to change. In addition to the master of ceremonies, there will also be a court interpreter who, according to Czech law, must translate the ceremony for you in the language of your place of birth or citizenship. You will need to say yes when you are asked whether you agree to marry. If you want to add something of your own (vows, breaking a glass, sand ceremony, etc.), you can do it after the official part.

Obtaining a marriage certificate, including its apostille and translation, takes 3 months.

If you ordered a photo and/or video session, the material will be received within 3 to 5 months from the date of filming.

After receiving the marriage certificate, to register the marriage in your country, you must submit it to the appropriate authorities established by your country or to the embassy of your country if you are not in its territory.
Until you have submitted the marriage certificate, and therefore have not declared its conclusion, you are not considered married. Failure to present a marriage certificate within a certain period (depending on the country) is a violation of the law.

By concluding a marriage through our company, you guarantee yourself complete confidence in the smooth conduct of the official part, and also get the opportunity to decorate this day with all kinds of services in accordance with your budget.
