💌 When to Book Your Wedding

It’s best to book your wedding in Cyprus in advance, to ensure everything goes smoothly and without stress.
The optimal preparation time is about 2 months, which is usually enough to complete all the paperwork and organize the ceremony.

If you want to secure your preferred date, venue, and vendors, especially during the high season (April to October), we recommend booking 4–6 months ahead, or even earlier if possible.
For hotel weddings, it’s best to book 9–12 months in advance, to guarantee the perfect dates, rooms, and conditions.

The minimum time frame for organizing a wedding is 2 weeks, but in that case, an express document preparation service is required for an additional fee.

This time is needed to:
✅ Prepare and legalize all required documents,
✅ Have them notarized and translated,
✅ Obtain municipal approval,
✅ Reserve your preferred specialists — photographer, videographer, stylist, decorator, and coordinator, to ensure your day goes exactly as you dream.

Once the documents are ready, you’ll need to bring the originals with you to Cyprus — without them, the ceremony cannot take place.
On the island, you’ll be accompanied by our professional local representative, who will oversee the entire process and resolve any issues on site.

🌸 How the Ceremony Works

The official ceremony lasts about 20 minutes.
The municipality provides a standard text of the vows that must be read aloud.
After the formal part, you can personalize your ceremony with:

📜 Marriage Certificate

The marriage certificate with apostille is usually issued on the same day, if the ceremony takes place before 14:00 and was booked in advance.
Otherwise:

or sent by post,
or available via express delivery for an additional fee.

After receiving the certificate, you must register your marriage in your home country (through local authorities or your country’s embassy).
Until the certificate is submitted — your marriage is not legally recognized.

If you booked a photo and/or video session, you’ll receive the edited material within 3 months after the wedding.
