Documents for a wedding in the Seychelles Islands:
Valid passports
Birth certificate
Certificate of marital status, i.e. whether he/she is single, divorced or widowed, issued by an official authority of his/her country. (For Israelis Tamzit Rishum)
The above certificate is valid for 3 months from the date of issue.
It is also necessary to legalize the certificate of marital status. The best form of legalization is an apostille stamp if their country has signed the “Hague Convention Abolishing Requirements for the Legalization of Foreign Public Documents of October 5, 1961.” Otherwise, he/she will need to contact the official authority of his/her country for the necessary legalization.
The original divorce document, in the case of a divorced person, which states that the divorce is final and not subject to appeal, duly signed, stamped and legalized.
