A wedding in the mountains of Georgia — where the sky touches the earth and hearts are filled with eternity.
Imagine standing amidst majestic mountains, wrapped in a gentle mist and the golden light of the setting sun. Around you — only nature, the whisper of the wind, and delicate flowers that seem to bless your union.
The magnificent peaks of the Caucasus become your witnesses. Every line, every curve of the mountains seems created to emphasize the beauty of the moment when two hearts find each other forever.
The clinking of glasses, the living echo of vows, the sincere tears of happiness — here, at the height of the world, everything sounds especially pure and genuine.
Georgia is a land where love weaves through everything.
It is here that the world’s oldest winemaking traditions were born, and every toast carries wishes for happiness, love, and long life.
Summer weddings are filled with the aromas of blooming alpine meadows and the warmth of the sun, while in winter you are embraced by the magic of snowy peaks and the cozy glow of stone houses warmed by a live fire.
In every season, the mountains of Georgia promise a magic that will stay in your memories forever.
A wedding here is not just a celebration — it is a love story etched into the eternal slopes of the mountains, a story your heart will return to again and again.
What is needed to get married in Georgia?
In Georgia, you will find a wide variety of stunning venues for your wedding ceremony.
It is recommended to book your wedding in Georgia no later than two months before your desired date. If you are planning an outdoor ceremony or choosing a popular location, it is sometimes necessary to book even a year in advance.
In addition to submitting your documents to the municipality and obtaining their approval, you will also need time to notarize and translate all required documents, which can take additional time.
The notarization and translation services are charged separately, depending on the document package and the time left before the wedding date.
We also offer an express document preparation service for an additional fee if you need everything completed urgently.
Please note that the original documents are essential — without them, the wedding cannot take place.
For outdoor ceremonies, it is required to issue a notarized power of attorney, allowing our agent in Georgia to submit the documents on your behalf, so you do not need to be present for this process.
The earlier you book your wedding with us, the better the chances of securing the dates and services that suit you best — such as the date you prefer or the photographer you love most.
We offer a wide selection of vendors to match every style and budget.
There is also the possibility to book your wedding with us online. In this case, there is no need for a physical meeting — the consultation can be held through any communication platform of your choice.
Original documents and the signed contract can be sent by mail.
The marriage ceremony itself in Georgia typically lasts about 20 minutes. The official part of the ceremony cannot be altered.
In addition to the officiant, there will also be a translator who will translate the ceremony into the language of your country of birth or citizenship.
You will be required to say “yes” when asked if you agree to marry.
If you wish to add personal elements such as vows, a glass-breaking ritual, a sand ceremony, etc., this can be done after the official part.
Receiving the marriage certificate, including its apostille and translation, usually takes between one to three business days.
If you have ordered a photo and/or video session, the delivery of materials typically takes between three to five months after the date of the shoot.
Once you receive your marriage certificate, you must register it with the relevant authorities in your home country or at your country’s embassy if you are abroad.
Until you register the certificate and officially declare your marriage, you are not considered legally married.
Failure to submit the certificate within the required period (which varies by country) may be considered a violation of the law.
By marrying through our company, you ensure full confidence in the smooth execution of the official part of your wedding, as well as the opportunity to enhance your special day with a wide range of services tailored to your budget.
We organize both small weddings with just the legal registration and grand celebrations including banquets, travel, excursions, flights, and hotel arrangements.
Our wedding packages are individually crafted for each couple, and we always do our best to make your special day as unique and magical as you have always dreamed.
Let us be your guide to a world where luxury meets perfection.
Documents for a wedding in Georgia:
- Valid passports
- Certificate of marital status, i.e. whether he/she is single, divorced or widowed, issued by an official authority of his/her country.
- The above certificate is valid for 3 months from the date of issue.
- It is also necessary to legalize the certificate of marital status. The best form of legalization is an apostille stamp if their country has signed the “Hague Convention Abolishing Requirements for the Legalization of Foreign Public Documents of October 5, 1961.” Otherwise, he/she will need to contact the official authority of his/her country for the necessary legalization.
- The original divorce document, in the case of a divorced person, which states that the divorce is final and not subject to appeal, duly signed, stamped and legalized.
- Death certificate of the spouse, in case he/she was married, but his/her spouse died. The certificate must be legalized.
- Certificate of change of name/surname.
- Notarised power of attorney.
