Documents for a wedding in Czechia
Start with a review of your documents. Requirements depend on your citizenship and marital status. Before you obtain certificates, we will confirm the requirements and validity periods for your chosen town hall.

Translation, certification and legalisation requirements will be confirmed for your circumstances. How do we choose a town hall?
Choose the Old Town Hall for central Prague and a ceremony accompanied by organ music. For a modern room, consider Classic. For a small celebration near Prague, explore Jinočany and Červený Újezd. Take your guest count and preferred ceremony day into account.
Which days are ceremonies held?
Regular ceremony days are Thursday before 13:00 at the Old Town Hall, Thursday in Jinočany, and Friday at Classic and Červený Újezd. Some venues offer other days for a supplement. We confirm the available date and time before booking.
Can we have a wedding for just the two of us?
Yes, you can choose an intimate ceremony for two. If you invite guests, we will check that their number fits the selected room’s capacity.
Can we plan the wedding remotely?
We can discuss the venue, package, photographs and schedule online. Requirements for original documents and attendance before the ceremony will be agreed in advance.
When should we book?
Contact us as soon as you know your plans. For the Old Town Hall, we recommend booking at least six months ahead. For other venues, we will check your date’s availability and the preparation time required.
Can we add a photo session and dinner?
Yes. We can tailor the photo route, photography, transport and dinner to your day. Before booking, we will clarify what is included in your package and what is charged separately.
