Paralimni is for couples who picture their civil wedding in a welcoming Cypriot courtyard. Marry outdoors among greenery, flowers and traditional buildings. Stone arches and textured walls become part of your photographs, while the courtyard keeps the celebration feeling personal and intimate.
Enjoy the courtyard as it is, or add personal touches such as flowers for the signing table, candles, fabric and ceremony decor. These are optional extras. We will discuss your ideas beforehand so the styling suits both the space and the wedding you have in mind.
After the ceremony, change the scenery with a trip to the Protaras or Ayia Napa coast. The traditional courtyard and sea views give your photographs two distinct moods. We will plan the route, photography time and your evening, whether a romantic dinner for two or a gathering with guests. Live streaming is available for loved ones at home.

📄 Getting married in Cyprus: let us handle the paperwork
Bring us your originals. We will prepare the paperwork for your civil wedding in Paralimni. We arrange the translations, notarisation and apostilles you need. There is no need to find translators or notaries yourself, or visit offices to arrange these steps.
Document preparation is an additional service, charged separately from your wedding package. Your package includes document checks and advice. Translation, notarisation and apostilles for your personal documents are a separate service.

The exact requirements depend on your citizenship, country of residence and marital status. We will confirm which originals you need, check their validity and agree the paperwork with the municipality in advance. For Israeli citizens, the marital-status certificate is valid for three months from its issue date.

How is this different from the hall on the Protaras page?
This venue is an open courtyard with greenery and traditional architecture. The Protaras page features a civil ceremony in a modern indoor hall.
Can we add ceremony styling in the courtyard?
Yes. Table styling and ceremony decor are available as extras. We will agree the details, placement and cost in advance.
Is this a legal civil marriage?
Yes. Your marriage is legally registered at Paralimni Town Hall. Your certificate can be used in your home country once any required formalities have been completed.
When should we book our wedding date?
As early as possible, especially if you are planning a peak-season wedding.
Can we choose our ceremony time?
Yes, subject to availability. Paralimni Town Hall ceremonies take place on weekdays before 2 pm.
When should we start the paperwork?
We recommend starting around two months before your wedding. Allow longer if you need to obtain new documents from another country.
Can we submit the documents and marry on the same day?
Yes. For our couples, we arrange document submission and the ceremony on the same day, with both appointments agreed with the municipality in advance.
How many days do we need in Cyprus?
One day is usually enough for the ceremony itself. Your full travel plan depends on your documents and the services you choose.
Should we fly in early?
It is not always required, but we recommend arriving the day before so you have time to settle in and prepare.
Will you help us throughout the planning?
Yes. We support you from choosing your date and venue through the document appointment, ceremony and receipt of your certificate.
Can we have a wedding just for two?
Yes. An intimate wedding without guests is absolutely possible. We can provide witnesses if needed.
Can we invite guests?
Yes. Guest numbers depend on your chosen venue. We can also arrange a live stream for loved ones at home.
How many guests can attend?
We will agree courtyard guest numbers and seating with the municipality for your ceremony. Let us know your expected numbers when choosing a date.

Your Art Wedding coordinator is with you at the document appointment and ceremony, keeps everything on track and helps with questions as they arise.
What language is the ceremony in?
The civil ceremony is usually conducted in English. Interpreting into other languages is not included.

Yes. We can arrange a romantic dinner for two, a reception or a party for your guests.

Yes. Payment can be split into agreed stages, with the full balance paid before the ceremony.
What is an apostille?
An apostille authenticates your certificate and may be required when using it in another country.
When is the marriage certificate issued?
At Paralimni Town Hall, your official certificate in English is issued on the ceremony day.
Can I change my surname after the wedding?
A surname change is arranged after the marriage, under the rules of your country of citizenship.
Do we need to register the marriage at home?
This depends on your home country’s rules. You may need to notify the relevant authorities and submit your marriage certificate in the required form. Check with the authority in your country before you travel.
