Your legal ceremony takes place at Lefkara Town Hall. Choose an inner courtyard or a bright hall with a terrace overlooking vineyards and mountains. We will agree the ceremony setting with you in advance.
After the ceremony, the village itself becomes your photo setting: traditional houses, stone walls and welcoming squares offer plenty of variety. Choose Lefkara if you love the atmosphere of an old village and mountain scenery.

📄 Getting married in Cyprus: let us handle the paperwork
Bring us your originals. We will prepare the paperwork for your civil wedding in Lefkara. We arrange the translations, notarisation and apostilles you need. There is no need to find translators or notaries yourself, or visit offices to arrange these steps.
Document preparation is an additional service, charged separately from your wedding package. Your package includes document checks and advice. Translation, notarisation and apostilles for your personal documents are a separate service.

The exact requirements depend on your citizenship, country of residence and marital status. Can we have a wedding arch in Lefkara?
A wedding arch and table styling can be added for ceremonies on the municipal terrace. These services are charged separately.
Is this a legal civil marriage?
Yes. Your marriage is legally registered at Lefkara Town Hall. Your certificate can be used in your home country once any required formalities have been completed.
When should we book our wedding date?
As early as possible, especially if you are planning a peak-season wedding.
Can we choose our ceremony time?
Yes, subject to availability. Lefkara Town Hall ceremonies take place on weekdays before 2 pm.
When should we start the paperwork?
We recommend starting around two months before your wedding. Allow longer if you need to obtain new documents from another country.
Can we submit the documents and marry on the same day?
Yes. For our couples, document submission and the ceremony take place on the same day. The ceremony starts immediately afterwards or around half an hour later.
How many days do we need in Cyprus?
One day is usually enough for the ceremony itself. Your full travel plan depends on your documents and the services you choose.
Should we fly in early?
It is not always required, but we recommend arriving the day before so you have time to settle in and prepare.
Will you help us throughout the planning?
Yes. We support you from choosing your date and venue through the document appointment, ceremony and receipt of your certificate.
Can we have a wedding just for two?
Yes. An intimate wedding without guests is absolutely possible. We can provide witnesses if needed.
Can we invite guests?
Yes. Guest numbers depend on your chosen venue. We can also arrange a live stream for loved ones at home.
How many guests can attend?
The indoor space generally accommodates up to 40 guests comfortably; outdoor spaces may allow more.
Who will be with us on the wedding day?
Your Art Wedding coordinator is with you at the document appointment and ceremony, keeps everything on track and helps with questions as they arise.
What language is the ceremony in?
The civil ceremony is usually conducted in English. Interpreting into other languages is not included.
Can we add extra services?
Yes. You can add photography, video, flowers, bridal hair and makeup, styling, a dinner, transfers and other services.
Can you arrange a wedding dinner?
Yes. We can arrange a romantic dinner for two, a reception or a party for your guests.
Can you help us choose a hotel?
Yes. We can help you choose a suitable hotel and suggest accommodation options.
Can we pay in instalments?
Yes. Payment can be split into agreed stages, with the full balance paid before the ceremony.
What is an apostille?
An apostille authenticates your certificate and may be required when using it in another country.
When is the marriage certificate issued?
At Lefkara Town Hall, your official certificate in English is issued on the ceremony day.
Can I change my surname after the wedding?
A surname change is arranged after the marriage, under the rules of your country of citizenship.
Do we need to register the marriage at home?
This depends on your home country’s rules. You may need to notify the relevant authorities and submit your marriage certificate in the required form. Check with the authority in your country before you travel.
