At Aphrodite Gardens, nature sets the mood. Your ceremony takes place in an open garden in Geroskipou, with greenery and flowers around you. It is a lovely choice for a relaxed, romantic civil wedding: exchange rings in the fresh air, hug your loved ones and raise your first glass as a married couple.
Make it just the two of you or invite your favourite people. The garden provides a naturally beautiful backdrop, while your bouquet and chosen details make it personal. A styled signing table or wedding arch can be added separately; prices are listed below.
After the ceremony, continue your day by the sea, along the streets of Paphos or over a celebratory dinner. We will plan the timing of your ceremony and photographs together. A ceremony inside Geroskipou Town Hall is the bad-weather alternative, which we will also discuss during planning.

Bring us your original documents, and we will take care of preparing the paperwork for your marriage in Geroskipou. We arrange the translations, notarisation and apostilles you need. There is no need to find translators or notaries yourself, or visit offices to arrange these steps.

What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
In bad weather, the ceremony moves inside Geroskipou Town Hall. We will discuss the backup plan and venue arrangements in advance.
Can we take photos by the sea after Aphrodite Gardens?
Yes. Follow your garden ceremony with photographs by the coast or in old Paphos. We will choose a route to suit the photography time included in your package.
Is this a legal civil marriage?
Yes. Your marriage is legally registered at Aphrodite Gardens. Once you receive the certificate and complete any required formalities, it can be submitted to the relevant authorities in your home country.
When should we book our wedding date?
As early as possible, especially if you are planning a peak-season wedding.
Can we choose our ceremony time?
Yes, subject to availability. Ceremonies at Aphrodite Gardens take place on weekdays before 2 pm.
When should we start the paperwork?
We recommend starting around two months before your wedding. Allow longer if you need to obtain new documents from another country.
Can we submit the documents and marry on the same day?
Yes. For our couples, we arrange document submission and the ceremony on the same day, with both appointments agreed with the municipality in advance.
How many days do we need in Cyprus?
One day is usually enough for the ceremony itself. Your full travel plan depends on your documents and the services you choose.
Should we fly in early?
It is not always required, but we recommend arriving the day before so you have time to settle in and prepare.
Will you help us throughout the planning?
Yes. We support you from choosing your date and venue through the document appointment, ceremony and receipt of your certificate.
Can we have a wedding just for two?
Yes. An intimate wedding without guests is absolutely possible. We can provide witnesses if needed.
Can we invite guests?
Yes. Guest numbers depend on your chosen venue. We can also arrange a live stream for loved ones at home.
How many guests can attend?
The garden works for a wedding just for two or a celebration with guests. We will agree seating and guest numbers for your ceremony. If the event moves indoors, the municipal hall’s capacity applies.
Who will be with us on the wedding day?
Your Art Wedding coordinator is with you at the document appointment and ceremony, keeps everything on track and helps with questions as they arise.
What language is the ceremony in?
The civil ceremony is usually conducted in English. Interpreting into other languages is not included.
Can we add extra services?
Yes. You can add photography, video, flowers, bridal hair and makeup, styling, a dinner, transfers and other services.

Yes. We can arrange a romantic dinner for two, a reception or a party for your guests.

At Aphrodite Gardens, the official certificate in English is issued on the day of the ceremony.
Can I change my surname after the wedding?
A surname change is arranged after the marriage, under the rules of your country of citizenship.
Do we need to register the marriage at home?
This depends on your home country’s rules. You may need to notify the relevant authorities and submit your marriage certificate in the required form. Check with the authority in your country before you travel.
