Ayia Napa suits couples who want their wedding to feel part of a Cyprus holiday. The legal ceremony takes place in a spacious, light-filled town hall in the resort centre. Afterwards, the sea, a relaxed stroll and your first photographs as newlyweds are waiting.
The coast gives you plenty of ways to continue your day: Ayia Napa’s beaches, rocky shoreline or Cape Greco. Rather than rushing between too many stops, we will choose a route with your photographer that suits your wishes and the photography time in your package.
Marry just the two of you or invite your loved ones, then gather for dinner at one of the resort’s restaurants. Live streaming can include anyone who cannot travel. We will agree the ceremony time, coordinator meeting, photographs and extras in a clear schedule.

📄 Getting married in Cyprus: let us handle the paperwork
Bring us your originals. We will prepare the paperwork for your civil wedding in Ayia Napa. We arrange the translations, notarisation and apostilles you need. There is no need to find translators or notaries yourself, or visit offices to arrange these steps.

The exact requirements depend on your citizenship, country of residence and marital status. We will confirm which originals you need, check their validity and agree the paperwork with the municipality in advance. For Israeli citizens, the marital-status certificate is valid for three months from its issue date.

Can we have photographs at Cape Greco after the ceremony?
Yes. Cape Greco can be part of your wedding photo route. We will agree stops and travel time with the photographer around your booked hours.
Is the ceremony on the beach or at the town hall?
These packages are for a ceremony inside Ayia Napa Town Hall. You can choose the coast for photographs afterwards; a different ceremony setting would be arranged separately.
Is this a legal civil marriage?
Yes. Your marriage is legally registered at Ayia Napa Town Hall. Your certificate can be used in your home country once any required formalities have been completed.
When should we book our wedding date?
As early as possible, especially if you are planning a peak-season wedding.
Can we choose our ceremony time?
Yes, subject to availability. Ayia Napa Town Hall ceremonies take place on weekdays before 2 pm.
When should we start the paperwork?
We recommend starting around two months before your wedding. Allow longer if you need to obtain new documents from another country.
Can we submit the documents and marry on the same day?
Yes. For our couples, we arrange document submission and the ceremony on the same day, with both appointments agreed with the municipality in advance.
How many days do we need in Cyprus?
One day is usually enough for the ceremony itself. Your full travel plan depends on your documents and the services you choose.
Should we fly in early?
It is not always required, but we recommend arriving the day before so you have time to settle in and prepare.
Will you help us throughout the planning?
Yes. We support you from choosing your date and venue through the document appointment, ceremony and receipt of your certificate.
Can we have a wedding just for two?
Yes. An intimate wedding without guests is absolutely possible. We can provide witnesses if needed.

How many guests can attend?
The spacious hall is suitable for weddings with guests. We will confirm capacity when you book, so tell us how many loved ones are planning to join you.

Your Art Wedding coordinator is with you at the document appointment and ceremony, keeps everything on track and helps with questions as they arise.
What language is the ceremony in?
The civil ceremony is usually conducted in English. Interpreting into other languages is not included.
Can we add extra services?
Yes. You can add photography, video, flowers, bridal hair and makeup, styling, a dinner, transfers and other services.
Can you arrange a wedding dinner?
Yes. We can arrange a romantic dinner for two, a reception or a party for your guests.
Can you help us choose a hotel?
Yes. We can help you choose a suitable hotel and suggest accommodation options.
Can we pay in instalments?
Yes. Payment can be split into agreed stages, with the full balance paid before the ceremony.
What is an apostille?
An apostille authenticates your certificate and may be required when using it in another country.
When is the marriage certificate issued?
At Ayia Napa Town Hall, your official certificate in English is issued on the ceremony day.
Can I change my surname after the wedding?
A surname change is arranged after the marriage, under the rules of your country of citizenship.
Do we need to register the marriage at home?
This depends on your home country’s rules. You may need to notify the relevant authorities and submit your marriage certificate in the required form. Check with the authority in your country before you travel.
